UPU for Asia Pacific postal operators to keep pace with the times to meet the needs of customers

Recently, the UPU universal postal union secretary general Bishall Hossain at the eleventh session of the Asia Pacific Postal Union Congress said, Asia Pacific postal operators should keep pace with the times, improve service quality, to meet the needs of our customers.
Bishall Hossain says, the postal operators continue to use new technology, to meet the needs of the development of the postal industry. At present, the growing prosperity of e-commerce business, postal operators should seize this one opportunity, improve the package volume. In addition, the development of the ripple effect of postal industry innovation has brought to the society and economy is immeasurable.
President Mukerjee of India in the Asia Pacific Postal Union Congress said, the global situation is constantly changing, so the postal authorities countries should change thinking, to keep pace with the times. People have high hopes for the postal service standards, accountability and transparency.
The UPU said, service quality is very important, for the postal industry in the future, is the main problem in the global development strategy of 2013-2016. The postal service in the Asia Pacific region accounted for more than half the number of almost global postal agencies, has a post office more than 31 months.
