DHL plans to build the largest logistics processing center in Egypt and Africa

According to foreign media reports, DHL has plans to invest 500000000 Egyptian pounds (about 57000000 euros ) new treatment centre at Cairo Airport. By then, the center will become the largest logistics center in africa.
At present, DHL has signed a memorandum of understanding with Cairo Airport freight company, implement the construction of new treatment centre at Cairo International Airport cargo village. The new center will be put into operation in 2014.
DHL Egypt branch said, the new center is part of an expansion strategy company in Cairo, is mainly responsible for the integration of European goods, sorting and re-export.
DHL began in the nineteen eighties in Egypt by operation, 24 employees at present has 40 branches, more than 400 employees and 100 vehicles.
